About Dr Rabin Bhandari
Dr Rabin Bhandari is a fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians). He was the Chairperson of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (SA Branch) from 2020 to 2024.
He graduated with a medical degree from the University of Newcastle (Australia) in 2007, and did the majority of his basic and advanced training in Sydney (including at Royal Prince Alfred, Balmain, Prince of Wales, St George, and Bankstown Hospitals, and The Royal Rehabilitation Centre).
Rabin completed a short-term role as a senior staff specialist/consultant in rehabilitation medicine at Central Adelaide Health Network (Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre) in September 2023.
He helped set up and organise the sub-specialty of Perioperative Medicine by being a founding member of the steering committee of Perioperative Medicine, within the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
